U3S

Flight path

U3S30 was launched on 19-Mar-2019 but burst on its ascent.

Like the former flights, this one also uses a special U3S firmware version.

Transmission schedule, minutes past the hour, on a 20-minute cycle. U3S30 uses callsign "G0UPL" and WSPR telemetry channel 05 (see http://qrp-labs.com/flights/s4 for details of the telemetry protocol developed by QRP Labs).

:02 FSKCW "U3S" on 14,096,970
:04 Ordinary WSPR on 14,097,070 (callsign "G0UPL")
:06 Telemetry WSPR on 14,097,070 (channel 05)
:08 DFCW on 14,096,970 sending #M6, the 6-character grid subsquare
:10 Ordinary WSPR on 10,140,270 (callsign "G0UPL")
:12 FSKCW "U3S" on 14,097,960
:14 Ordinary WSPR on 14,097,070 (callsign "G0UPL")
:16 Telemetry WSPR on 14,097,070 (channel 05)
:18 DFCW on 14,097,970 sending #AT (Altitude)
:20 Calibration...
:22 Repeat...

Although this is a 20-minute cycle starting at 2 minutes past the hour, every 10 minutes the schedule is effectively identical EXCEPT for the DFCW sent in minute :06 (and :16) which alternates between sending the grid subsquare and the altitude in meters.
